Archive at Wellcome

Audrey’s extensive and diverse archive was donated by her family to Wellcome Collection in 2014. It has now been fully catalogued and the process of its digitisation is underway, beginning with the most fragile objects: her account books and scrapbooks. High resolution scans of some of Audrey’s art is also viewable online.

The Audrey Amiss archive can be consulted by appointment at Wellcome. For this, it is necessary to join the library and request material at least a few days prior to the visit, which can be completed online.

The catalogue indicates the status of each item. If it is ‘Restricted’, it may be consulted at Wellcome but may not be photographed.
